miserable!!!
today is Halloween ...but my wisdom tooth is still trying its best to torture me...i went to see doctor this morning, treated by a young n pretty lady with very good customer service by smiling all the time. but i cant squeeze out a smile back to her cos half of my face is swollen and i cant realli open my mouth when she asked me to...how miserable!!!!! i came back with some mouthwash, amoxycillin and MORE painkiller...sigh..i never take so many painkillers in my life... anyway halloween bash tonight ...hope it can give me several joyful hours..

今日牙痛冇好返，仲變本加厲o忝!我覺得我半邊面都好似腫o左o甘樣...haii..唔得o架拉，好辛苦吖，成日食“必理痛”(panadol)都係治標不治本，仲搞到我宜家頭好暈喎。聼日冇堂，要去睇下牙醫先至得。

i was in the lib since morning till it closed fifteen minutes ago... basicalli reading for midterm and rushing reports plus infrequent chatting with frens on msn..my wisdom tooth is getting worse this morning and i have to take panadol every 4 hours to make me feel better cos the pain made me feel headache... gisele's a series of unfortunate events hah...sigh....now the onli thing i am looking forwards is the halloween bash on 31st night(but y is it a monday??i have loads of lessons on Tue...) hope my tooth gets better then or i will have prob screaming even if some "monster" or "ghosts" scare my guts out...it can be realli scary noe! i will take pics anyway to prove!

3-hr midterm paper...finished in 1.5 hrs..
i have exactli 4 hr n half left b4 my second mid-term paper...and it's a module ..ahh...tortured me in the lib for the whole morning.
how horrible this paper is :
firstli, it will be 3 hrs long...from sweet dinner time 630 to 930!
secondli, it is not a paper u can bluff like my first, the intro to management ...u gonna know sth b4 answering " what will be the opti diameter for a circular settling tank?"
thirdli, there are "fill-in-the-blank" qns! and they r asking u all the small details in almost every aspects...like wad " what's the measuring unit of TDS?" or " HK use what standard to design n maintain water treatment plant?" maybe u will say: ok wad then just rem those units n names lor. but these r a lot more details hiding here n there ...how i noe what they gonna ask??
forthli,it's 26degree today...the paper gonna be taken in a small room...i dun noe my puma jacket can prevent me from being freezed in the aircon or not...

back...i hand in the paper within 2 hrs, actualli finished in 1.5 hrs but drag drag till 2...the paper is..well...i finished it earli not cause i'm smart or the paper is too easy. i think the way they test ppl is diff from nus..if this paper is set in nus i think they will give 1 hr or sth like that. nus likes the students to rush during exams and it's normal if u dun have time to finish it but here i think they would rather give sufficient time for u to write whatever u wan to. what they wan is to see ur understanding but not how familiar u r with the type of qns or how fast u r...mm..but i got the weird feeling..the MCQs have too many options and confused me...like one of it got 9 options, it is like follows :

today's topic is actualli..the surprise i had today! that some block ppl came n knock my door this evening holding a big, or huge plate of fruits, saying: studying hard for mid-term! take care!" sweet right?! ...heh...so even v paisei i still took this pic ..
i also wan to share the next few pics i took today,this morning after i had brunch with my rmmate as usual, i went to the seaside to take pics...the breeze was a bit chilling but the sun was warm and the scene was spectacular..and make me feel so calmed and relaxed...no wonder there are always tourists coming to this uni and full of "not for tourist" signboard ard the academic buildings..a v romantic campus ...here it goes..

Matsuri Japan 2005
here is me back from matsuri japan 2005!
ahh..for ppl waiting for this post: i am soooo exhausted now after staying in the matsuri for hours, barely eating a meal for the day, but when i see the pics i think they should be up for viewing tonight,cos they r so pretty..
i got up late this morning so i think i missed some shows in the beginning. but i din regret cos today is sooo hot! i think if i go to the victoria park on time-that is 1200 noon, i will be roasted.
well, so the first show i catched was a dance called"
Yosakai Soran"which in chinese is 蒼天亂舞，i admit that it is realli a 亂舞，i cant understand the cultural meaning behind it when they started shouting n dancing on the stage...haii...
the dance was follewed by a drum performance "Nahadaiko"
the 壓軸戲 was [visit japan campaign] sang by "morning 娘", some HK guy standing in for of me is crazy abt them and almost make me crazy by 手舞足蹈 during the show...haii...qi xi ...

inbetween there are chior n orchestra performance from the japanese primary school in HongKong, i din realli stay in the crowd and watch cos i wan to explore the other tour, food and game sections...
besides the performance and stalls,the cutest thing i noticed is the kids in yukatas running ard ...look at them..

Thai Day - bangkok U &HKUST culture exchange programme 2005
Oct 21st, the last day of BU & HKUST student cultureal exchange programme. the BU students put up a lunch-time show in school atrium, a one-hr short and sweet one. starting with
Serng Pong Lang - a northeastern region dance for joyful occasion. i dun noe how joyful the lyrics means but the costume definiteli gave a impact on that...the guys are wearing the typical blue shirts and pakhowma of that region..
Muay Thai & Krabi-Krabong -thai boxing and sword fighting...was a violent one...the sword flied off the stage twice lucky nobody injured both the performers and audiance..i was in fact quite close to the stage..
Hun - Thai puppet show. this appeared more in thai horror shows, like "san gen"if u still remember. as they said,deities, demons, kings, mythological creatures and warriors comes alive in puppet shows to re-enact the epics and at the same time there is spirit in every puppets. i actualli saw the gal who perform it doing some praying rituals to the puppets b4 the show...
the one in red represent a girl while the one in green is a demon, a love story between a human n demon...sounds like a cutted version of beauty n beast...

i am going this Matsui Japan - 日本節 this saturday. it is an event organised by HongKong japanese club. 1st midterm and 1st bento...
my first midterm-"intro to management" ended yest...or last evening to be exact... feeling alright maybe cos it's a bizad module...still have 4 more to go !!! haii...no life ..
well...i had my 1st bento here for today's dinner...another good thing abt HK is that it is v convenient to buy all kinds of bento from the supermart: chinese zhuchao, jap style bento, roasted meat rice ...etc and they taste good! i bought a jap bento just now...and it is sth like this, looks appetising right:
ahh..and one more thing : Halloween is coming! meaning: party time!
