Size Zéro et SFF

SFF...Singapore Fashion Festival... something new these yrs...

i was one of the dresser for tonight's DKNY show together with L'oreal and Redken.
first time dress up a model, i mean a real one... quite excited...
backstage was quite a mess... well it's all like that i know.. and all those DKNY without ironing, limelight and a smile-wearing salesperson, they look ehh... sth worse than my own wardrobe.

PGP has peeping tom case recently, and i wanna suggest him to go for a dresser next time, i din feel anything when all the size zeros started stripping to panties and t-backs today.. well not because i am experienced, but humans, there are only male and female right.

by the way i bumpped into Raymond today he was doing marketing for L'oreal, what a coincidence.

「Phantom of the Opera」

watched this forever-popular musical last night in VIP box.it's the first time i bot the most ex ticket of a show. it's kinda worth it... "kinda" because it's famous, really big-scale, spectacular and very very proper. but somehow i feel i enjoy "notre dame de Paris" more but indoor stadium cant be compared to Esplanade theatre.

i took a walk with frens along the riverside after the musical.maybe i dun often go Esplanade or one fullerton area recently, i found it's a nice place to walk in the night... and i just realised that there is something like "london eye" by the river,it's called "singapore flyer" and will be operating in 2008,kinda cool...

Romantic scene spotted: Flowers along the bridge is blooming and it was windy last night so petals were flying in the air and then landed on the river, very nice... good place for dating except the fact that there are already too many couples.

two things i wan to do now:
1. 我要学说上海话；
2. 我要去日本玩玩。

混沌状态.....

图书馆三楼还不错，估计今后的3/4个月我会经常过来。
记得大一的时候我一直去的是六楼，都是学习的桌子，以至于过了很久也不明白图书馆的藏书在哪里，可见我当时的读书情况；
大二改去五楼，也发现了书原来都藏在了三楼；
大三的时候去了香港，科大的海景图书馆很棒，每层都待过，一层的落地大玻璃看海很赞，现在想起来还很奢华；
大四上搬去pgp住，我的房间是个火焰山，所以去图书馆基本是避暑。大四下也就是现在，为了我的黑皮书，被迫又来图书馆，这次又下了一个阶级，到三楼读书来了。也好，算是充分利用了资源。如果你奇怪为什么不是四楼，四楼是entrance,没有桌子所以跳过。

其实在图书馆效率不一定高，不过肯定比呆在房间高，这点已经被我证明了很多次，是一个定理，恩。

黑皮书看起来不难，其实做起来是那么回事，而我目前不是那么回事，所以很混沌，也很郁闷。

国内的一个好朋友要结婚了，之前都没提过，突然间要把婚纱照寄来给我看，小惊~
另外一个朋友说你惊什么，总有一天你也会结婚的。这倒是，就好像黑皮书该交的时候不管怎样我也会交一本上去的，问题是在没写的时候你朋友给你一本写好了的看看，我还是会很受刺激的。


恩，我就是少了点刺激。一管牙膏，不挤是出不来的。不过我怀疑我已经不是牙膏，而是强力胶。

传说中的金星合月...

傍晚1730，老妈很浪漫的发了个短信跟我说，现在月亮的旁边有一颗很亮的星，这个现象叫“金星合月”。
我于是很浪漫的跑到图书馆旁边的大草坪上去看月亮，找了半天只有夕阳，于是我说妈，新加坡太阳还没下山拉~

不过我妈会发个短信让我看星星月亮还是很值得感动的，我决定天黑了再去草坪上找找这个传说中的...

今天我也作了一件让自己很感动的事情：我在图书馆待了一天。（当然我带了电脑，or it will never be possible.）

不过，我还是待了一天的。我相信好的开始会有好的结果，当然不那么好的开始未必到不了好结果，both are referred to my black book ....

Blood and Chocolate...

"blood and chocolate" is the most tender werewolf show i've ever see... no gore, no passion, it's almost a pure romance,and a slow-pace one...i cant believe it's the same director of "underworld". anyway the guy is cute, the gal has good figure and the graphic is beautiful... 3 main selling pts of the movie.

i have officially moved into central to start lib-dwelling life again.a bit earlier than any other 7sems. i have calculated:

27 days left to final-draft submission date of my balck book.
50 pages are needed for the content part.

i need to write 2pgs/day on average in order to graduate.

2 pages...so the acknowledgement and summary for today.

and if u are not a game-fanatic, just get a dvd room, lie down on the matress and enjoy the wide LCD screen... Sat night might be a bit noisy outside tho... still.. nice place to rest and hangout....

「300」

i watched "300" today. and first time i saw how big the GV-MAX was... both the screen and the theatre... hmm actually somwhow like lido hall2, just that it's newer and look nicer...

abt look nice... "300" do look v nice.. it's so digital that i can imagine the amount of professional work behind. and with that, i guess the director can even employ me to act since after all everything will be photoshoped and appear perfect. it may sound a bit cynical well the costumes are really nice, esp the womens'... elegant and yet sexy... not something that can be digitally made.. the designers are good.

conclusion: if u r a fan of "gladiator" and u like pretty pretty pictures and effects... or even if u dun fulfil the above 2 conditions.. it's worth 7 dollars to watch 300 in Vivo GV-MAX... elsewhere may not be so worthy cos the screens are small to satisfy the visual pleasure.tips for guys: got some nudity scenes... of cos look nice n pretty in order to follow the main theme.

questions: 1. why the 祭司 must look so disgusting, and in witchcraft, isn't it that the orade girl should be virgin, instead of being "licked" by 8 disgusting 祭司??

2. why the so powerful King Xerxes is in such homosexual fashion? from the movie alone it's not convincingly at all...no strength like the warriors, doesn't seem to possess anyway dark secret power... then what so big abt him? furthermore piercings here and there, golden accessories over the face and body....i can only "..." to describe him..



by the way ... i dun know why i bought so much from the supermarket today.... celery, frozen prawns, frozen mixed veggies,garlic..... even got cooking oil!! if not that the rice weights 5kg i think i will carry one pack back also...as if i am opening a stall in pgp canteen......

i wonder if i will cook all those this week.... let's see...

Music and Lyrics

"melody is the initial physical attraction, lyrics are the love that develops over time." or more directly: "Music is sex, lyrics are love."

the movie is said to be a charmer by these enlightening interpretations of the difference between the two. well i was simply draged to cinema by Hugh Grant. it's getting difficult to see him on screen nowadays i guess... the last time was in "BJ's diary 2" and then "love actually"... and then "about a boy"... i used to be a big fan of him...and i still am...(weird sentence, remind me of french passe l'imparfait- a tense to be used from a point in the pass till now and it's not finished yet!)




enough of the movie.

i had a weird desire of buying clothes today. i dun why, not particular for any function of purpose at all.. i dun even know what kind of clothes i wan to buy. well nothing fits my mood today... or maybe i just feel ugly today.
there are day that i look into the mirror and feel "oh so ugly!" and there are days i feel great...maybe not so great but alright....
is it just me or everyone has that kind of appearance-confidence-swing?

long day today... french oral 1 finally finished...
it's weird sometimes.despite the fact that among all the languages i knew, french is the one i speak the worst, after practising an hour or so, i'll unconsciously pop out some french words or phrases...
well... speaking french really kills brain cells.. i shall stay in my jap/korean-drama for the rest of the week.

nearly went to watch movie again today since oral is done and i can relax a bit for the week, anyway it rained so heavily in the end n instead of going out i was watching sunset in the rain from my windows... nice~~

it's been a week since i back from home... still no appetite for any food here...

「Just Follow the Laws」

i skipped tonight's lecture to watch "just follow the laws".... well maybe i shouldn't, cos then i didn't revise anything for tomorrow's french oral. my fren said i need not to since i did it once last week... ahh i cant even remember what i did yesterday how to remember last week's ?!

anyway i think this is the first n only local movie's i have seen. despite the crazy "soul exchange" plot the whole show was ok...
first time i saw Fann in such ugly appearance also...(fox, it's the truth..hee)

on the other hand, "desperate house wives" season3 episode 16 is out tonight too...
guess it's fate not to prepare anything for tmr's oral...let it be then ... whatsoever...

sigh... typical yr-4-syndrome.

「Paris Je t'aime」

last minute decided to watch "paris j t'aime" to end my Yuan Xiao 2007.

It was such a fun movie and it is one of the few award-winning shows that's not boring nor weird.
So many petit cute stories, so many funny ppl and so many kisses, i lost count but there are at least 20?

so... if "big bang love:juvenile A" (also called ４６億年の恋)is the foreign film that i strongly discourage u to watch then this is the one i strongly encourage. esp if u know a bit of french... and then u might understand more of the last story which was told by an english-speaker in french...hee...it's like hearing your classmate reading his/her piece of writing... =)

i am still excited...maybe it's been too long since the last time i watched a movie.. almost 3 weeks since "ghost rider"... ya that's right..

anyone wan watch "paris je t'aime" ? i dun mind watch again cos i dun have a clue of the story with the chinese girls and end with faye wong's "tian kong"...
